Sync moves files to trash if locally modified

You can put a document (example.doc) in a local folder, the sync process works fine, creating a example.doc version 1.0 in the remote folder on server.

However if you then edit example.doc in the local folder, the next time it tries to sync, instead of updating example.doc to version 1.1 on the server, it deletes the file in the local folder and moves version 1.0 in the remote folder to the trash on the server.
