An export Archive is explicitly designed not to be downloadable for the following reasons:

  • Security: An archive may contain hundred of thousands of files in clear form and an hacker may extract huge amount of infomrations in a relatively small time
  • Size: Easily an archive with even some thousands of documents may occupy several Gigas and it should be zipped first in order to download leading to a lot of memory/CPI consumption, possible browser timeout.
