Description
Add the ability to split PDF documents - basically generate a new PDF based on specified pages (pages:1,3,8) and/or page range (pages:2-5) from an existing PDF.

Hi Marco, yes the ability to do this would be good. Are we able to currently split scans using barcodes?

can you please describe a use case ?
This split has to be done on a single document you select in the GUI?
Is this something that have to be programmed and executed under the covers?
Please explain in detail.

In general the splitting is done at import time by a specific importer procedure that splits on the basis of markers found in a big scan, like a barcode or a white separator page.
