Description
Experienced while using Internet Explorer and Chrome:
When the GUI Setting On Double Click is set to download, if a user double clicks on a PDF file, it opens that file in that same window as the current logicaldoc session. Since the downloaded PDF is displayed within the browser, if the user attempts to return to logicaldoc via back, they must log back in.
The user can simply right click on the file and select download in the context menu, and the file can then be opened within the PDF reader outside of the browser in Explorer, or in Chrome in a newly spawned browser window, making it convenient to return to logicaldoc.
However, I find that the default action of all of the users in our company is to simply double click on the file. It would be very beneficial to implement the double click to spawn a new browser window instead of trying to download into the current browser window.
