I asked about this improvement in early 2015, but have not seen this now in the forum. Currently, we have a template with many fields defined. However, when you review a document that is in a folder that the template applies to, the layout of the fields is only distributed over two columns, with much empty real estate to the right. For our users, this proves cumbersome that they must always expand the EXT Properties to see all of the fields. It would be an extremely positive improvement to have the system arrange the fields over more than two columns, and even more so, provide the ability for the administrator to setup the arrangement of the fields in the EXT Properties tab. Please see the attached image example of how our EXT Properties looks now. |

Hi Team, It would be a very powerful feature to be able to insert images that are currently stored in LogicalDOC, directly into a Word/Excel/Powerpoint? document via the Office addin. Currently users have to download a copy of an image locally before inserting it into their document. If this process could be handled by the Office Addin, it saves time and stop the need for files outside of the DMS. |

This concerns both the Outlook and the Office Addin. It is quite cumbersome to have to manually uninstall the old addin before they can install the update. It would be better if the installer would allow the installation of the updates on top of the existing versions. Alternatively, the uninstall process could be handled automatically by the installer software. |
